T
he Association for Trotters Exiting Racing Inc (AFTER) is a not-for-profit volunteer group and is for anyone who loves Standardbreds, wants a Standardbred or has a Standardbred. .
AFTER was formed by a small group of people who wanted to focus on the Standardbred Adoption Program, which was started by Caroline Jeffs almost ten years ago. In that time almost 250 Standardbreds have been rehomed through the program.
AFTER provides support for Standardbred owners via instruction days, training seminars and the contact details for trainers and riding instructors who are “Standardbred friendly”.
AFTER holds social activities, competitions, shows and other events for its members. However, our main focus will always be on the Adoption Program and education and support for Standardbred owners.
The Association for Trotters Exiting Racing (AFTER) is a not-for-profit volunteer organisation dedicated to promoting this gentle breed as a genuine saddle horse to ensure they have a life after racing.
